Judges will be looking for employers who can demonstrate the positive impact apprenticeships have had on their business, the provisions put in place to provide high-quality training and development opportunities for employees, and how the learning is flexible and tailored to its learners. They must also show how they are active champions of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Best Community Outreach Programme 2023

This award goes to any sized employer which has successfully implemented a programme to connect the local community and raise awareness of not just their apprenticeship offering, but also apprenticeships within the hospitality and retail sector.

Judges will be looking for employers who champion apprenticeships in everything they do!

They’ll want to see examples of how the employer celebrates apprenticeships as a career springboard to their workforce, stakeholders and the wider community using a multichannel approach.

HIT Hero of the Year 2023

This special award is chosen by the judges and is not open to nominations.

Chosen from the winners of the apprentice and employer categories, this award goes to the apprentice or employer who has demonstrated unrivalled passion for apprenticeships.

It could be an apprentice who has shown exceptional promise in developing their skills to make their chosen career a success or an employer who has done more than any other to put apprenticeships at the centre of their business.

Whatever the case, judges will be looking for an apprentice or employer who they consider to be this year’s rising star!
