Entries

The HIT Heroes Awards are open to:

  • apprentices who are currently enrolled on an apprenticeship or who have completed a HIT Training apprenticeship between the dates of 31st July 2022 and 31st August 2023
  • employers who have run an apprenticeship programme with HIT Training between the dates of 31st July 2022 and 31st August 2023

By entering the HIT Heroes Awards you agree that your submission may be used for media and PR purposes. Please email marketing@hittraining.co.uk if you have any objections to this when you enter the awards.

The organisers cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of any entry. All entries will be treated in the strictest confidence.

The judges’ decisions will be final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into regarding the selection of the winners.

Entries and supporting documents (where applicable) will only be accepted when submitted via the online entry form. The deadline for entries is: 8th November 2023 and cannot be amended later.

Should the judges determine an entry submitted for one category is of greater relevance to another category, they may re-categorise that entry. The HIT Heroes judges reserve the right to withdraw an entry that is deemed inaccurate or untruthful or does not meet the entry criteria.

Employees of HIT Training and their family members or friends are not permitted to enter.

Winners

Winners of the awards (except HIT Hero of the Year 2023) will either be visited by a member of the HIT board or staff member to receive their award, or this will be sent via post during December 2023 and January 2024.

All award winners will be celebrated online during apprenticeship week in February 2024 where the winner of the HIT Hero of the Year 2023 will be crowned.

Photographs and video

You agree that, should you be invited to the HIT Heroes Awards event, any photographs or videos taken can be used for promotional purposes of the event. Please email marketing@hittraining.co.uk if you have any objections to this when you enter the awards.

Data protection

Your information provided in your award entry is protected and secure in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1988 and the General Data Protection Regulation 2018.

Use of your personal information

The personal information you submit in your application will be used by HIT Training to process and communicate with you about your entry. Your information will be shared with third parties working on behalf of the HIT Heroes Awards to manage the awards applications and events.

Information contained within your application, including your personal information, may be shared with PR, creative or marketing agencies working on behalf of HIT Training for publicity purposes relating to the promotion of apprenticeships as part of the awards process. Commercially sensitive information will not be shared publicly.
